Origins of the Empire: Memphis, Sakkara, and Giza

Overview

Be ready for a full day tour full of beauty, fascination, and imagination.

You will be picked up from your hotel and head to Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx, which dates back to the time of Chephren and visit the Valley Temple. Then, you will see the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world's oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty for King Djoser.

Afterwards, you will go to Memphis which was founded by King Menes and was the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom, it was a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years the first capital of Egypt and see the Statue of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx of Memphis.

Please note that you'll gain access to the pyramids area but the entrance fees to get inside the pyramids building itself (Cheops, Mykerinos or Kefren) are not included. Please manage this with your guide if you are interested in getting inside any of the Pyramid’s building through a narrow tunnel.
